Wow what a great response to our first post, I figured I would do another similar one to start. Last week I bought a new car and needed insurance for it, obviously. So I started looking around Albany, NY for the best insurance I could find. Now I may be weird but price was not my only deciding factor. I wanted to find an insurance agent that would be around for years, so that any time in the future when I buy a car or house that it would be easier for me to get the insurance quickly and know I wasn’t being ripped off. I wanted someone that was friendly, knowledgeable and could be easily reached without having to jump through hoops and super long wait times. After a few days of searching I based my decision on how friendly the person who answered the business line was, some I felt like I was bothering them by calling and other it felt like they were overwhelmed and I was adding to their stress, no thank you. Those immediately got crossed off my list. If you can’t be friendly or don’t want my business that’s fine but save me the time by taking your advertisements down. The ones who passed my personal friendly test I than took into account how easy it was to get a quote and how quickly they were able to get back to me with a number and coverage details. Turns out some insurance agents in Albany forget that you wanted a quote in the first place and others while friendly seemed like it was their first day on the job and sounded confused to me. After all this I finally decided on getting my Albany Car Insurance with Erik LaChance. Not only was he friendly but so was his staff and receptionist. I felt like a friend rather than a number in their books. He is also a younger agent who honestly seemed to care about me and not just selling me all the insurance he could think of. I look forward to continuing doing business with Erik for years to come.
